Since Auxilium believes in students growing, developing and bonding outside of the classroom, there are a variety of activities available for all types of interests. Take a look below to learn more.

AYG

Give Back

Reaching out to the underpriviledged is our motto. We have contributed towards the calamity stricken people in Kolhapur and Sangli by providing them with food, clothes and asbestos sheets for roof. Time and again we reach out to the needy at the Institute for the mentally challenged women at Shirur, Asha kiran- Institute for the children of AIDS patients. Likewise many such institutions in Ahmednagar have benefitted as a result of our charitable contributions.

ECO

Jump In

Our motto is ‘Where there is green there is prosperity’. Reducing the Carbon footprint is our goal. We stress on ecofriendly ways of life and celebrate Vanamohotsava by planting, watering and nurturing trees 24 * 7. The eco club has fostered many foresighted ideas like collecting seed balls to donate to the needy farmers and collecting plastic from the entire school for recycling. The members conduct Assemblies by airing environmental issues via skits, mime and street plays. A rally for complete ban on plastic was conducted by the Eco club members.

SCOUT

Get Active

Our motto is to “Be prepared”. Scout leaders and Guide captains train us to do our duty towards God, towards our country, towards other people and to ourselves. We are prepared to face all situations and apply our skills in camps, crafts, gadgets and knowledge to various situations. All this continuous striving has won us accolades in the 13th National BOSCOREE held at Nashik. We ended up winning 14 golden grade certificates and trophies.

GUIDE

ART

Being creative is not a hobby it is a way of life. We at Auxilium believe in education through extracurricular activities.The backdrop for programmes, invitations cards, decorating the quadrangle and the like is all displayed much creatively by our club members. Our genre of artists Nikhil and Shrutika Shinde have won the Times of India awards at the State level.

COMPUTER

Give Back

Computers are born to solve problems that did not exist previously. Every Saturday the Computer club invites its members and all those who are interested, to learn the latest developments. The school authorities have provided us with a variety of soft ware and hardware equipment of which we make the best possible use. Once in a year we celebrate the computer day by conducting a quiz competition. Not only the students but also the teachers have become adept at handling computer equipments and especially e-sense. The members of the Computer club have become the long helping hands of the Sisters and teachers as far as organizing programmes is concerned.x

MEDIA

Jump In

Media connects people. It means a lot more than what meets the eye. At Auxilium we illuminate the flame of Humanity by highlighting injustice and demanding support for the victim. We had held a Black ribbon day in support of Priyanka Reddy and lit candles. Seminars were held by our members to understand the POSH and the POCSO act. Highlights of News and sports events are read out in the daily Assembly.  As a part of club activities students are encouraged to write articles or report news that take place in Auxilium campus.

ENGLISH

Get Active

The knowledge of English is the key to unlock a brilliant future. We the members of the English club use the daily Assembly wisely by using proverbs and introducing them in sentences. Poems based on the relevant issues at that particular time are recited in front of the students. Skits are animated and general information is given to the students. Club activity means getting the members involved in reading besides the textual part. We had put up banners on figures of speech and parts of speech with examples. One of our club members Miss. Eveleena won the 1`st prize last year and also bagged a certificate this year in the Elocution competition in VRDE.

HINDI

Be There

Our National language Hindi binds all Indians in one fabric. Together we the club members have made a difference not only in our lives but also in the lives of others. The Hindi club adorns the Assembly with plays, poetry, songs and speeches and various versatile activities. The Hindi day was celebrated by the club members with the prayer and the pledge in Hindi followed by an Essay writing competition.

MARATHI

Auxilium Convent High School and Junior College is in Ahmednagar district which is in the state of Maharashtra and we are very proud to say that the language of our State is Marathi. It shapes the way we think and determines what we think about. We the members of the Marathi club celebrate our state language in the Assembly by presenting skits, poems, conversations in Marathi which brings out the Maratha spirit in us. The club ensures that each and every student knows how to read and write Marathi. Newspapers are read out as a part of club activities. Besides this, every year we celebrate Marathi day with great pomp and splendour.

MATHS

Get Active

Mathematics is the poetry of logical ideas. It involves numbers, equations, computations, algorithms and above all understanding. Mathematics is the basis of everyday life. We the club members ensure that all free periods are utilized in reciting tables, square roots and cube roots of numbers. The modern era is the era of quiz competitions which we had conducted, also a Chart exhibition on formulas and definition was held in the school. This has increased the alertness and confidence of our club members.

CULTURAL HERITAGE

Give Back

A nation’s culture resides in the hearts and in the soul of its people. India is a culturally diverse nation and our rich culture has taught Indians to be tolerant and better people. To protect our culture and take it to greater heights we at Auxilium conduct a Unity in Diversity week where all religious teachings are given importance and highlighted. Assemblies are conducted wherein the students wear costumes of various states and speak the dialects and translate it so as to enhance our communication skills. We make it a point to carry out field trips to monuments and forts. The students had built forts ruled over by Shivaji Maharaj in the Fort Making Competition.

CHOIR

Jump In

CANTATE DOMINO-ie Sing in honour of God. We believe that when we sing to worship God our school friends hear the melody and join their voices with us in unison. In one of our endeavors we celebrated Christmas with the Pardhi tribal community and distributed gifts and sweets. We sing songs in praise of God and for all school programmes and festivals. One of our members Ms.Greeta Jitson came first in the solo competition and the senior group won the second position in the Inter school singing competition.

SPORTS

Get Active

We believe in playing like champions. Auxilium sport club members have participated in Inter and Intra school cricket, volley-ball, skating, athletics, swimming and badminton competitions.  Expert coaches have been invited from all these sports fields to train students. We persevere to soar, overcome, respond, transform, succeed and pass on the baton of sportsmanship to the coming generation.

MUSIC

Give Back

Music is not what we do but it is who we are. Music club encourages talents in music, instrumental and vocal. Students with a musical bent of mind are a part of the club. The members come to facilitate the exchange of musical ideas and develop an appreciation for music and boost up their musical talents. School programmes and celebrations of festivals would be incomplete without the musical accompaniment of our music club members. Those members who are interested in music, or those who know to play musical instruments come together during the activity time on Saturdays and teach those who do not.

SCIENCE

Jump In

Astronomy compels the soul to look upward and lead us from this world to another. Exploring the vast universe hand in hand was done with the help of a 3D planetarium shown in our school. Students were taken on field trips to the Ahmednagar Planetarium and in the effort for working together towards a better future for humankind we had workshops on sky observation conducted in school. We educate students to make a career in space technology. They are motivated to search for articles or videos on space and speak about it as a part of the club activity.
